Following the Twitter melee that ensued between KanyeWiz Khalifa, and Amber Rose. I think it’s safe to say that these last few hours have been the most eventful of 2016. It seemed as if producer, Dame Grease got Max B on the phone to record a ‘message to Kanye West’ called ‘My Wave’ after Ye changed his album name from Swish to Waves. Max is heard rapping, “N***as keep taking my waves” over Pharcyde’s classic, “Running”.

You may know Biggavelli as French Montana’s mentor or as the co-writer for Jim Jones’s biggest hit We Fly High (Ballin’), but for those of you who don’t know Max B, he is a Harlem-based rapper and the one that popularised the colloquial term “Wavy”. Max is formally affiliated with Dipset before financial and ethical grievances got in the way of the relationship. Recognised as the east coast’s Nate Dogg, the New York rapper is currently serving a 75-year prison sentence on conspiracy charges pertaining to armed robbery, kidnapping, aggravated assault and felony murder.

It actually turns out that Grease actually just took some old Max verses that he had in the vault and put them over the J. Dilla-produced track, considering the timing it sounded pretty legit. It’s worth mentioning that ‘Ye did shout out Max in a separate tweet, so I don’t think any harm or jacking was meant.

We can only wait to see how Biggavelli really feels about Kanye’s new album. Although, the quality of the song is poor and I can barely understand what’s being said, peep it below and follow along with these Rap Genius lyrics.
